Paddle Siesta Key!

Away from all the hustle and bustle of Siesta Key, is our favorite local beach, Turtle Beach.  It is only a few short miles from the main Siesta Key beach to Turtle Beach and the Sarasota County trolley will drop you right there.  Not only is this area such a beautiful and quiet place, it is also a great place to kayak or paddleboard!

We offer single and double kayak rentals as well as stand up paddleboards and surfboard rentals at this location. The kayaks and paddleboards are perfect to explore the beautiful surrounding waterways. Don’t worry about getting lost—we will supply you a map and give you some pointers about the area and where to go paddle to have a good chance of seeing wildlife.

The highlights of this location is:

•  mangrove islands that house tons of birds and aquatic life
•  natural mangrove tunnels
• grass flats to explore for creatures
• tons of friendly manatees in the spring and summer months
• secret beach to relax or swim

The surfboards can be walked across the parking lot to some great little waves at Turtle Beach. (We only have surfboards when the waves are good so call to make sure.)

All equipment comes with the necessary safety equipment.
